These directions and map are for trains leaving from our CEDAR PARK DEPOT. Please note that all Day Out With Thomas trains depart from and return to our depot in Burnet, TX. Please do not come to Cedar Park for any Day Out With Thomas events/activities.
All passengers must board at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure. The ticket office opens 90 minutes prior to the train's departure time, and trains begin boarding 45 minutes before departure. As a courtesy to other passengers, the train will not wait for late arriving passengers. Please remember tickets will not be refunded or re-issued unless cancelled in advance.
Please do not come to the Cedar Park Depot for any Day Out With Thomas events/activities. A few other train rides during the year - including our Burnet Flyers and our Summer Express trains - depart from either our Bertram Depot or our Burnet Depot. The departure depot location can be found on your confirmation.
From Austin And San Antonio
Drive north on IH 35. Exit on RM1431(#256) and turn left (going west). After passing under Hwy 183, the Cedar Park railroad station is a half mile on the right at RM 1431/401 E. Whitestone Blvd. in the Depot at Cedar Park Shopping Center, west of the Best Western Motel and situated between Double Dave's Pizza and Castle Dental.
From Houston
Drive west on Hwy 290 to Hwy I-35 North. Exit on RM1431(#256) and drive west 8 miles to the Cedar Park Train Station. The Cedar Park Station (RM 1431/401 E. Whitestone Blvd.) is on the right in the Depot at Cedar Park Shopping Center, west of the Best Western Motel and situated between Double Dave's Pizza and Castle Dental.
From Dallas And Temple
Drive south on IH35 and take exit #256 for RM1431. Turn right on RM1431, and drive west 8 miles to the Cedar Park Train Station. The Cedar Park Station (RM 1431/401 E. Whitestone Blvd.) is on the right in the Depot at Cedar Park Shopping Center, west of the Best Western Motel and situated between Double Dave's Pizza and Castle Dental.
