You can help keep vintage railroading alive in Central Texas by becoming an Austin Steam Train Association member. Tax-deductible memberships are offered at various levels starting at $40 per year. You may also choose to become one of ASTA’s closest friends by joining the Roundhouse. Roundhouse members pledge $1,000 a year for five years to keep the trains rolling. Exclusive benefits are included. ASTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

As a member of the Austin Steam Train Association, you’ll enjoy the satisfaction of providing vital support to historic railway preservation in Central Texas! ASTA members receive a variety of ticket discounts and other premiums for their memberships, but best of all is being a part of preserving, interpreting and re-creating the glory days of our steam railroad heritage!

Membership Levels (all levels receive quarterly callboard)

• Basic ($40) receives member prices on all trips and souvenirs.
• Premium ($100) receives a $10 merchandise voucher and one ticket voucher.
• Sustaining ($250) receives a $25 merchandise voucher and two ticket vouchers.
• Yardmaster ($500) receives a $50 merchandise voucher and four ticket vouchers.
• Stockholder ($1,000) receives a $75 merchandise voucher and 6 ticket vouchers.
• Trainmaster ($2,500) receives a $100 merchandise voucher and 8 ticket vouchers.
• President's Circle ($7,500) receives a $100 merchandise voucher and 10 ticket vouchers.
• Rail Baron ($15,000) receives two season passes and one car charter.
