Our most popular ride! This 66 mile round trip excursion journeys through the Texas Hill Country, crossing the wooden trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel River and Short Creek Canyon. During the two hour layover in Burnet you can enjoy lunch on your own, a leisurely stroll around the historic town square and the Wild West Gunfight (weather permitting). Finally, relax and enjoy our historic cars as the train returns to Cedar Park in the afternoon.
Bluebonnet Beer is back! Join us on the Spring Beer Train featuring passenger favorite, Round Rock craft brewery Bluebonnet Beer Company. Passengers will enjoy a custom beer tasting led by David and Clare Hulama, Owners and brewers at Bluebonnet Beer Company. The original Beer Train brewery, Bluebonnet is always a crowd favorite- and tickets will sell out in advance for this special event! Each Bluebonnet beer will be paired by the masterful team behind Greenhouse Craft food- Chef Todd Engel and Chef Rob Snow.
All aboard the Spring Break Flyer! This special mid-week ride departs from our Cedar Park Depot and travels to our historic 1912 Bertram Depot in Bertram. In Bertram passengers will enjoy a 15 minute layover to explore the Depot and take pictures. The Depot, built by the San Antonio & Aransas Pass Railroad in 1912 and features an operator’s bay, vintage operating equipment and historic photographs. Passengers are free to bring their own lunch on this route.
