The Austin Steam Train Association– Texas’ own non-profit railroad–is now open for business!
Safety comes first on the railroad, so you can ride the rails feeling confident that we are taking every precaution to guarantee your ride is as memorable as always.
Purchasing a ticket on the Austin Steam Train Association confirms that you will abide by our Health and Safety Plan, and agree to our Terms & Conditions. Please read these pages prior to purchasing your tickets. Violations of the rules, policies, and/or Crew member instructions may result in removal from the train.
We will continue to monitor and adapt our safety procedures to follow the guidance of the CDC and local authorities. Your feedback is welcome at info@austinsteamtrain.org.
Finally, our office is open every Friday from 10am-2pm for passengers who may need in-person assistance. Masks are required. Our office will remain closed to the public all other days, except one hour prior to each train departure. You can still reach us by phone 7 days a week at 512-402-3830.
