Last month, we hosted our inaugural Rails of Recognition Luncheon—and what a beautiful celebration it was!

We gathered to honor our history and the folks who have helped shape the journey of the Austin Steam Train Association these past 36 years. From long-time supporters to dedicated volunteers, each guest reminded us that our legacy is powered by community.

We were honored to award The Boone Family with The Empire Builder Award and Ben Sargent with The Steam & Steel Award for their extraordinary contributions to ASTA. Their impact has helped preserve and power the magic of railroading for generations to come. We are truly grateful!

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who attended and made the day so special. And a huge shoutout to Springdale Station for providing such a stunning and welcoming space for the occasion!
